Tales From The Trash

Writer's picture: Central School ProjectCentral School Project

A Thrift Store Art Show

Crashing into Central School on March 11th comes the World's Greatest Art Show Of Questionable Art, for ONE NIGHT ONLY!

For the first time since the last time, curators Mark Bloom and Steve Purdy bring you the finest in original works of Art, all found in Thrift Stores, Swap Meets, Yard Sales and dumpsters. Nothing altered, nothing added, other than a title that may (or may not) be appropriate.

Every painting for sale is a REAL piece of ART! Not a virtual thing you pay for in virtual money and look at on your phone. It's ALL real art, created by human beings that sometimes, maybe, could have tried a bit harder, but at least they had hearts and souls and minds and a solid determination to express themselves in a rich variety of colorful and interesting ways.

Join us in the basement at Central School at 5pm for a musical performance by our friend Hank Topless before the Trash happens at 6pm
